Q.   Will you be Satisfied with the installation of your new Concrete Landscaped Curb?

A.   We are so confident you will love your newly installed curb, that we have a Satisfaction Guarantee!  “1 year warranty” on materials and workmanship.

Q.   Is it difficult to install and can anyone install this curbing?

A.   Keep in mind you are purchasing a service. Should an installer not practice the code of good business ethics that he or she should, the end result could be that you end up with a Concrete Curb that has very poor quality Craftsmanship. Remember this is not something you can take back to the store if you are unsatisfied with the results. This is extruded wet concrete thats goes with the contour of your landscape. If you are looking for smooth flowing and long lasting Curbs, your best bet is to go with American Curbing  Best of all, we are affordably priced.

Q.   Are you limited to a design layout?

A.  A small concrete extruding machine is very maneuverable, there for providing us with the design flexibility needed for your specific lawn type.  It curves, circles, or extrudes straight lines to allow for just about any design you may desire. In addition, we encourage the homeowner to stay outside to see the process.

Q.   How effective is this Concrete Curb in keeping out grass

A.   Extruded concrete curbing has a proven track record at preventing sod from entering your flower bed. Your constant fight to keep sod out of your flower beds ends with this invention. You will not have weeds growing in between this edging since it is all one continuous piece. There are a few different molds to choose from. The most common is (mower edge) or (slant edge).
With our machine, both molds have a minimum 2”  height in the front and 4” height in the back and 6” in width. The machine even has the ability to adjust higher if needed, As long as your area is prepared properly and your grass clippings do not end up in your flower beds, then grass growing in the flower beds will be prevented..

Q.   Does this process damage my lawn or flowerbeds, and what can I do to prepare for the installation?

A.   There will not be any damage to your landscape! Once you approve the design. We cut the design with a 12" Sod Cutter so you will have that beautiful smooth flowing curb. Not only does that remove the sod for placement of the curb, but also gives you the opportunity to see the flow of the Curb prior to the installation.  We want you to be 100% Satisfied with the results of your new Landscape Curb.  Please inform your Children, Family and Neighbors that you are having “WET Decorative Concrete Curb Installed” and to stay away from your curb for a minimum of three days!! If damage does occurs after our departure, we must charge a fee to come back and repair the damaged curb.

Q.   Can children or pets damage the curb?

A.   The concrete curb is very fragile during the first twenty four to forty eight hours of installation. It is imperative to keep guests, children and pets away from the curb for the first three days, otherwise they can and will crush your curb. In addition, many homeowners have irrigation systems which need to be turned off the day before our arrival and not turned back on until one day after the installation. If the curb is damaged from any type of force we can fix the curb, however there will be an additional fee for this service. In addition, you will have a noticeable color difference where the curb is repaired. After three days, concrete curbing is very strong. It is then strong enough at that point that animals and children will not hurt the curb if they step on it. It is ok to rake your bed covering back into place three days after the installation, just make sure the curb does not take a direct hit from any tools. It is best to wait a week before you begin any major replanting or changes to your bed area. Keep in mind, do not allow anyone to dig underneath the curb, or run over the curb with a vehicle. Your curb is only as good as its foundation, and  is not designed to be ran over by a vehicle.
